How to Add Your NEXSYS Email to the Gmail App (Mobile)

You can also connect your NEXSYS-hosted email directly in the Gmail app on your phone or tablet. Here’s how:


Step 1: Open the Gmail App

  • Download the Gmail app (if you don’t already have it).
  • Open the app and go to the menu (three lines in the top-left).
  • Scroll down and select Settings.

Step 2: Add Account

  1. Tap Add account.
  2. Select Other (not Google, Outlook, etc.).

Step 3: Enter Your Email

  1. Type in your NEXSYS email address (example: you@yourdomain.com).
  2. Tap Manual Setup.
  3. Choose Personal (IMAP) or Personal (POP3). We recommend IMAP for syncing across devices.

Step 4: Incoming Server Settings

  1. Enter your full email address and password.
  2. For IMAP server:
  • mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL/TLS

Step 5: Outgoing Server Settings

  1. For SMTP server:
  • mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  1. Enter your full email and password.

Step 6: Finish Setup

  • Gmail will verify the settings.
  • Choose your sync preferences (frequency, notifications, etc.).
  • Tap Done.

✅ Your NEXSYS email account will now be added to the Gmail app and sync alongside your personal Gmail account.
